Hyper-V and vSphere: A Comparative Webinar
A free and informative half-day webinar for those looking to deploy the two most popular virtualization technologies.
You often get what you pay for, but here’s an instance where free can be invaluable: Microsoft will be offering a Virtualization IT Camp that looks at some of the key technologies in Microsoft and VMware virtualization technologies. Just be sure you can free up the first half of your day on December 11, the day the Web event is offered.
The training is aimed at covering some of the similarities between Microsoft and VMware virtualization technologies, but from a look at the session guide, the focus is more on Hyper-V. Topics covered will include a fast-paced overview of both technologies, and then setting up and configuring Hyper-V hosts, provisioning, and clustering, among others. The event will be hosted by Matt Hester and Tommy Patterson, both senior technical evangelists at Microsoft.
