Achieving Modern IT through a Culture of Change
Damien Eversmann, Chief Architect, Education, Red Hat
If there’s one thing that the pandemic taught us, it’s that we should not put off till tomorrow what can be done today. Because for all we know, tomorrow might be postponed for a few years. In the IT world, modernization is one of those initiatives that we often put off till the absolute last minute, often to catastrophic results. Achieving a culture of Continuous Modernization is one way to avoid that catastrophe. There are many paths to Continuous Modernization and many steps along the paths, but automation features prominently in all of them. Adopting an Enterprise IT Automation posture can start you in your journey to a culture of Continuous Modernization.

We’ve been preparing for this moment since 2021, partnering with IBM Research over the last few years to develop a generative AI solution that enhances the Ansible experience. And we’ve done it the Ansible way, with a tight focus on automation, and a commitment to delivering a solution that the Ansible community can trust.

In this session, we’ll provide an overview of our new generative AI offering Ansible Lightspeed, through the lens of how it has been developed, the questions it addresses, and how it is poised to reshape the Ansible creation experience.

Matthew Packer, Principal Product Marketing Manager

Cloud environments add an additional layer of complexity to infrastructure, network, application, and user administration. Automation can unite hybrid cloud management under a single set of processes and policies to improve consistency, scalability, and speed. Red Hat® Ansible® Automation Platform (AAP) can simplify how you provision, configure, and manage cloud infrastructure, streamlining and operationalizing activities across multiple platforms and services.

In this session we’ll discuss the trends driving hybrid cloud automation, how AAP can automate your hybrid environments, and how AAP is now available on AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud and what those offers entail.

  • 10:50 a.m. PT / 1:50 p.m. ET:
Red Hat Services - Engagement, Enablement and Use Cases
Garrett Nekic & Sean Cheema, Territory Services Managers, Red Hat

    • A manufacturing example where we are using Ansible to provide pre-created playbooks to our client’s customer to update manufacturing control software.
    • Additional automation journeys.
    • Additionally, they will discuss automation challenges they are still seeing in the field and will provide direction on how to create a cohesive automation strategy across your organization.

  • 11:15 a.m. PT / 2:15 p.m. ET:
