What Enterprises Should Know About Identity Management, Authentication & Endpoint Protection

Date: Friday, February 24 at 9 a.m. PT / 12 noon ET

Ian Thornton-Trump CD, CISO for Cyjax is well known for his observations on Zero Trust, Cloud Security, Threat Landscape and has been presenting on these topics since 2021. This presentation combines two important elements of an enterprise “Zero Trust” framework – Identity and Access Management (IAM) and the latest in endpoint protection technologies. For this presentation, Ian will be joined by Head of Cyber Threat Intelligence Operations for Cyjax, Chris Spinks, and will outline the crisis organizations find themselves when it comes to identity and access management. With 23 years of policing experience, retired Detective Sargent Chis will talk about the specific danger organizations and individuals face when credentials are compromised and how fraudsters, cyber criminals and even nation-state actors understand how compromised credentials are quickly exploited and actively traded in the criminal underground.

During the pandemic, there was a huge rush to adopt many collaboration tools and SaaS applications – specially to facilitate remote working. Robust endpoint protection has never been more important to identify adversary activity - because if credentials are compromised the next step of the threat actors is to use those credentials to find a way into the organization and make life miserable for defenders.
