Cloud-Based SD-WAN Tool Sheds Light on Remote Networks
A new cloud-based management tool from software-defined wide-area network (SD-WAN) specialist Cybera aims to increase visibility of operations on remote site networks.
Called CyberaVUE, the new management offering is part of the company's security-focused multi-tenant platform called CyberaONE.
The CyberaVUE solution consists of three components:
CyberaVUE Insights Dashboard: real-time health and network status visibility
CyberaVUE Configuration Controller: controlled environment for routine changes
CyberaVUE Diagnostic Toolset: monitors and identifies the root cause of local issues
The solution reportedly can address conflicting network and security policies enacted by multiple stakeholders by letting each one individually configure just the specific services they require, resulting in brand-level security enforcement, franchisee-level flexibility and a single portal to facilitate outside partner management.
"CyberaVUE applies software-defined networking principles to modernize the Wide-Area-Network (WAN) into a unique form of SD-WAN," the Nashville, Tenn., company said in a news release last week. "The approach dramatically reduces networking costs while optimizing application performance, enhancing brand protection, and accelerating speed-to-market."
