Cloud-Based SD-WAN Tool Sheds Light on Remote Networks

A new cloud-based management tool from software-defined wide-area network (SD-WAN) specialist Cybera aims to increase visibility of operations on remote site networks.

Called CyberaVUE, the new management offering is part of the company's security-focused multi-tenant platform called CyberaONE.

The CyberaVUE solution consists of three components:

  • CyberaVUE Insights Dashboard: real-time health and network status visibility
  • CyberaVUE Configuration Controller: controlled environment for routine changes
  • CyberaVUE Diagnostic Toolset: monitors and identifies the root cause of local issues
  • The solution reportedly can address conflicting network and security policies enacted by multiple stakeholders by letting each one individually configure just the specific services they require, resulting in brand-level security enforcement, franchisee-level flexibility and a single portal to facilitate outside partner management.

"CyberaVUE applies software-defined networking principles to modernize the Wide-Area-Network (WAN) into a unique form of SD-WAN," the Nashville, Tenn., company said in a news release last week. "The approach dramatically reduces networking costs while optimizing application performance, enhancing brand protection, and accelerating speed-to-market."
