Top VDI and End User Computing Best Practices
Date: Wednesday, September 8th at 9 a.m. PDT / 12 p.m. EDT
Managing, optimizing and securing your EUC infrastructure.
With last year being the year of VDI, now is a great time to reflect on what we have learned about rapid, large-scale deployments of VDI environments and the best practices around it.
We will first go over the explosive growth of VDI in the last year then level-set the session by quickly describing the components that make up a VDI environment. We will then dig into best practices to ensure that VDI users have the best experience possible when accomplishing their day-to-day tasks and tending to their responsibilities. This session will touch on the entire VDI stack from the hypervisors and virtual desktops to the last 50 feet of connectivity.
People who are new to, or are investigating, VDI will gain insights into how to make their transition from physical to virtual desktops smoother while those who already have a VDI environment in place will pick up tips to help optimize it and provide a better experience for their users.
