VMTurbo Manages the Virtualization Stack, Top to Bottom
VMTurbo upgrades its virtualization management appliance with new application performance monitoring system.
VMTurbo said a September software upgrade of its VMTurbo virtualization workload management appliance will include a payload for monitoring applications for those who want it. VMTurbo Application Performance Management will be able to monitor SQL Server and IIS in virtualized environments, with other applications being supported in future upgrades.
VMTurbo Application Performance Management is $200 per socket, or $25 per VM.
In related news, VMTurbo said that telco BT Group is now using VMTurbo Cloud Operations Manager to support BT's Enterprise Virtual Datacenter in a private cloud scenario. BT said that its virtual infrastructure consists of 600 ESX servers and thousands of VMs located globally.
