Ensim Brands File, Backup Services for Service Providers

Ensim adds to its end-to-end BSS/OSS cloud offering.

Ensim is a company that automates the on-boarding, provisioning, and management of users and organizations with cloud-based applications and services. It's just announced two new storage-as-a-service solutions: Ensim File Manager and Ensim Backup Manager. They let cloud service providers offer secure file storage, sharing, and backup under their own brand name and from their own datacenters.

Paired with the Ensim Automation Suite, they allow service providers to automate and manage Ensim's full range of applications and services for an end-to-end solution that includes ordering, service catalog, billing, provisioning, and management.

Ensim STaaS Solutions leverage Microsoft technologies and can be deployed with existing applications and services such as Microsoft Exchange, SharePoint, and Lync. Service providers manage storage scalability via Microsoft System Center 2012 R2 with Hyper V.

Service providers can also establish user-level quotas and enforce them via a reservation-based model and set alerts to inform customers hit thresholds, so that more capacity can be added or reallocated among users when needed.
