Pivot3 Adds Disaster Recovery and Workload Mobility Support for AWS, Azure and Google Cloud
Hyperconverged infrastructure technology vendor Pivot3 today announced it's expanding its Intelligent Hybrid Cloud solution so that customers using Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud will now have access to workload mobility and disaster recovery capabilities.
Through its partnership with CloudEndure, a live migration and disaster recovery solutions provider, Pivot3 customers will have access to new workload mobility and disaster recovery capabilities, which will allow them to migrate their workloads to and from AWS, Azure and Google Cloud. In addition, the expanded offering will provide Pivot3 channel partners with a set of tools to offer their customers so they can "implement a more simple and automated multi-cloud environment," according to the announcement.
"Organizations of all types are using public clouds to augment their on-premises IT, and one of the most common uses is for disaster recovery," said Tim Stammers, senior analyst at 451 Group, in prepared statement. "But that is not always simple to set up. By becoming a single source of both on-premises infrastructure and software that enables disaster recovery or application migration across a choice of major public clouds, Pivot3 is simplifying the path to hybrid cloud computing."
According to the company, the new expanded capabilities are available immediately.
