CloudJumper Releases GA of Cloud Workspace Management Suite 5.3
This week at Microsoft Inspire 2019 (being held in Las Vegas, Nevada, July 14-19), Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) provider CloudJumper announced the general availability of its Cloud Workspace Management Suite (CWMS) version 5.3 and demonstrated it publicly for the first time.
The cloud-based workspace management platform now includes support for Azure Government and the public preview of Windows Virtual Desktop (WVD), while contuining its support of Infrastructure-as-a-Service-based remote desktop services for on-premises, public cloud and hybrid cloud deployments.
CWMS 5.3 integrates with WVD APIs to help managed services providers and enterprise customers speed up implementation. According to the company, the SaaS platform "eliminates the need to host components outside of Azure's compute environment, [simplifying] user access by passing Azure Active Directory Domain Services credentials throughout the platform, using single sign-on to access applications based on user-defined policies ..." This allows admins to "manage the entire technology stack, including server resources, as the organization requires."
"CWMS V5.3 intelligence allows for the provisioning of WVD in minutes," said Max Pruger, chief revenue officer for CloudJumper, in a prepared statement. "For customers globally, the Azure-powered solution offers the best of Windows 10 virtual desktops from the user's device of choice, reducing management and operational costs."
