Goliath Offers Wide View of VMware Services
MonitorIT works natively with VMware to monitor and report on system metrics.
Monitoring the VMware from end to end is difficult enough, and there a myriad ways of doing it, which includes solutions from VMware as well as a healthy solutions ecosystem. One more player that tries to simplify the monumental task of monitoring from a proactive standpoint is Goliath.
To that end, Goliath has released a version of its MonitorIT that has a healthy number of new dashboards and alerting features for vCenter. MonitorIT can measure storage IOPS, and throughput and latency, and has dashboards for storage performance. MonitorIT ties into vCenter through direct API integration.
MonitorIT already works with Citrix XenApp and XenDesktop.
