Managed SD-WAN, Cloud-Delivered Branch Services Offered in CloudGenix/CISSDM Partnership
CloudGenix and CISSDM have teamed up to offer a new enterprise solution for managed software-defined wide-area networking (SD-WAN) and cloud-delivered branch services.
The partnership results in the industry's first solution for delivering all branch infrastructure services -- SD-WAN, security, performance management, etc. -- from the cloud, which can free up branch offices from the limitations of hardware-based approaches, said CloudGenix, an enterprise SD-wAN vendor, and CISSDM, which specializes in SD-WAN deployments and managed services.
CloudGenix provides an Autonomous SD-WAN -- which uses global intelligence to deliver performance and security SLAs for all applications over any WAN-type -- and the CloudBlades platform, which enables the secure delivery of best-of-breed infrastructure services to the branch from the cloud. Thus enterprises can reportedly provision infrastructure services including SD-WAN, security, cloud backbone integration, and operational tools without needing additional hardware or software.
Company CEO Kumar Ramachandran said the partners are revolutionizing the existing cloud-delivered branch model and freeing customers from having to rely on branch routers, hardware firewalls, voice appliances, WAN optimization appliances, and other infrastructure to run branch offices.
CISSDM, which provides enterprise SD-WAN, aggregation, and unified communications-as-a-service (UCaaS) offerings, is contributing its managed services capabilities to the solution.
"By combining CISSDM's industry leading SD-WAN integration design, deployment, and managed services capabilities with CloudGenix award-winning SD-WAN products, the two companies are delivering predictability, security and agility for remote office digital transformation initiatives," said Matt Miller, president of CISSDM, in a Feb. 7 news release. "CloudGenix continues to disrupt the SD-WAN market, and together, we are delivering highly flexible managed solutions to our clients. CloudGenix CloudBlades platform is a game-changer when it comes to changing the model of branch infrastructure services delivery from hardware appliances to cloud-delivered services."
"Enterprises gain cloud-scale economics for the branch with the freedom to use any WAN, any cloud, and any best-of-breed infrastructure service," said CloudGenix in a blog post. The new service is available now for enterprise customers and to channel partners.
